That's where most of his starts at Real Madrid under Carlo came from. Just saying.
Fair enough, I just want him centrally then.

You know over half his career starts are in wide positions don’t you? Ideally he plays the #10 but I quite like the idea of him cutting in onto his left foot and scoring blammos. I also am still scarred from the last time we tried to get rid of our wingers with Koeman. Don’t like that set up one bit.You play Hamez at 10 or at a push centrally in the quarterback role or you leave him in Madrid.
The fullbacks will provide the width.
We have 2 Widers in the whole squad, it suits us to bin off widers IMO.

Stat wise he's more prolific from RWFair enough, I just want him centrally then.
Carlo had a dream :
Pickford
RB - Keggers - Mina - Digne
Gomes
Allan - Donkeree
Hamez
DCL - Rico
Looking at Carlo's Milan teams I'm pretty sure you're right about wingers. They're going in the bin.
Makes sense with Hamez, Bernard, Iwobi and even Sigi in the squad.
I think Iwobi, Bernard and Sigi may actually look half decent being played in a formation that suits them. Wouldn't be surprised if we went one up top and two roaming behind at times.
Either way, I think we're departing from a standard 4-4-2, and as promised by Mr. Ancelotti we'll be much more competitive.
I think Bernie and Walcott are the only wingers in the squad.
Of course other players can play there, but I think even Gordon is better centrally, Walcott can play up top and Bernie might be punted, but he could possibly play as 10.
Hell we might start getting some proper links to Wingers soon so the whole theory goes in the bin, but in January Brands said a Right Winger would be our main target, I suppose Hamez could be it.
Very interested to see what happens, but Carlo does what he wants, he's never had a real set formation, he changes it on a whim.
If Davies is involved clogging is the wordYeah, I think with each of our 'wide' players arguments could be made that they're not fully suitable out wide. Walcott being the most suited obviously, but even he loves a little run in behind.
Definitely interesting times ahead. Perfect time for Carlo to deliver the ultimate popcorn with a 4-2-3-1 slugs of war abomination. Sigi and Davies patrolling the wings. Clogging the arteries of the PL one game at a time.
Leave the positional chat to the pro's, nerds...that's what Carlo's here for.
OK, other than an evening kick-off, what does playing at 7 mean?Playing Hamez at 7 should be bannable.
