I'd rather we lost a game where Siggurdson and Pickford didn't start than when they do.

Would stick Holgate in midfield too.

I will sprinkle some more, we got a dodgy VAR decision to win the palace game and 3 dodgy VAR decisions to get a point from the derby, we have also played a game more than anyone else.

Also we looked out of the game in the West Brom game until they got a red

Bringing off James for Cenk Tosun was odd. We showed zero creativity and then we somehow found a way to show even less than that.

Context? How about the context that we've lost three games on the trot now and taken 1 point from our previous 4 games?

This is more than a dreadful, gutless performance against a very poor and out-of-sorts Utd team. The last three performances have been utterly shambolic.

I can’t blame him for the Holgate decision. Too many errors from Mina recently.
But the Siggurdson decision is baffling, and it’s been constant. Has to bin him.

You then ask yourself, who comes in.

Gomes not been good enough, so doesn’t deserve to start.
Davies not up to it
Delph a nothing player.

So part of me feels it’s his fault and then you look at what he has and you find it hard to be too critical.

I’d be advocating a change in system next week. Maybe bring James to the top of a diamond, and have DCL and Richie both up top.

Allan in DM role and Doucoure/Gomes further forward.
