But we don't have a style. We don't play that way more often than not which is why we've lost so many home games to crap teams.

I'm not bothered about entertainment, I'm bothered about winning. It just so happens that usually, the better you are at playing footy, the better you are at winning games.

Our 'style' (which isn't actually in place because we've only managed to do it in away games with no fans there, and just scraped by) relies on a hell of a lot of luck, and moments going our way.

We can't pass to each other, the movement is dreadful, everything is backwards or sideways - and that's even when we play this style which you think we have.

So no, we've got very little to build on in terms of a structure, and that's a problem. Now, better players will make it easier, but how many better players? Because if we bring in 6-7 this summer, which again it looks like we need, we're going to have the same issues of bedding people in etc, hoping to avoid injuries.

There is no defending it, it's awful. The one thing we have is that we've got some monkeys off our backs. Whether that was just down to a lack of fans, or was some masterclass from Carlo (in certain games, I think he got it spot on btw, Anfield, Elland Road etc, brilliant tactical performances and hard effort from the players) we'll find out when we go to those places next season.
A lot of what you've just mentioned has nothing to do with ambiguous terms like"structure".

I know what you're unhappy about, and many fans are the same, and it's nothing to do with style. The players aren't good enough. Simple as that.

Maybe the manager wouldn’t need to be calling them out if they actually bothered to put the effort in

Where has the fight been that got us a point at Old Trafford after being 2-0 and 3-2 down? The performance that saw us win at Anfield for the first time in 22 years? That produced deserved wins over Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs?

Dont get me wrong mate I ain't defending these players its clear we need better but Carlo/the coaching staff are underperforming and just as much to blame.

Would anyone genuinely be gutted if he left tomorrow? I honestly wouldn't bat an eyelid same as I wouldn't have with Koeman/Silva/Alladyce which shows he isnt doing anything special.

If you listened to some on here you would think he has taken a team just promoted into 10th when we have finished 8th in the last few seasons under Allardyce and Silva with worse squads.

We have a style of play that maximises the strengths of the squad and mitigates the weaknesses. Whether you like that style or not, is irrelevant.

With the addition of better attacking players we can change the style of play. If we had "something in place" by which you use as a euphemism for "entertaining to watch" then we could well have been relegated this season.
Noooooooo we don't. I can't understand anybody who watches our games and still thinks we have a 'style' of play.

The end of the season was a disappointment but it was also a load of games with basically the same players. Couldn’t even fill the bench most games or had unheard of kids.

We won at Anfield and Arsenal for the 1st time in 20 years +

the squad needs a nice overhaul and finally a few more wage eaters have gone

He got the highest points out of these players, won 11 away games and finally beaten the RS for the 1st time in 11 years an at Anfield
