I am still not convinced, it does feel in some respect a media leak to flesh out Conte who is potentially dithering on deciding whether to join.

Despite that, where there is smoke there is fire, and Carlo regardless has clearly entertained the possibility, RM wouldn't leak this without their being some substance to it.

As such, this is complete and utter treachery and a debacle. Carlo is a charlatan of the highest order.

Preaches and positions himself as a trusted gentleman, a man of the fans. He talks about the opportunity to build a project and create a legacy, then the first time it gets tough, he waivers and potentially leaves.

He sells James and Allan up the river, sings to the fans his love for the city.

He now rubs it in our face and buggers off to a Club that sacked him.

Good riddance, I loved him as a manager and as person, but he is a fraud of the highest order.
