As I see it, 2 choices for Moshiri if Ancelotti goes:

1. Get a high profile manager like Conte, Sarri, Simeone in, pay them £10 million a year and give them £200 million to spend.
2. Get Eddie Howe in, tell him to keep us in the division for a few seasons while we build the new stadium, and he gets whatever he can make on player sales to spend.
The problem with option 2 is Howe would spend it all on RS reserves.

Lad behave yourself. We can’t just throw another £200m at a manager. And we ain’t getting Conte or Simeone. This is bad new for Everton at the moment.
It's not my money mate, if it was me I would try and sell off as much of our dross as possible, get a young manager in on £2 million a year and buy young players from the lower leagues like Villa, Leicester etc are doing. However, Everton are a vanity project for Moshiri and possibly Usmanov, so who knows what they will do.

I'm often bemused by everton fan opinions, but the fact some people aren't concerned about us losing Carlo flipping Ancelotti is on a whole other level.

I think this will be the most gutted I've been since Arteta left. And that was because I was still at school, had gone to bed early, woke up for the first day back after summer holidays, and was not ready to hear we had sold him at 5 to 12!

If this happens then we are staring at a disaster in the face. No manager, an inept DOF, a woefully inadequate squad, a ton of uncertainty, and the club's wider standing in an extremely bad place.

I don't want him to go at all but we will carry on.

The clubs wider standing will be exactly in the same place it has been for 2-3 decades. The only thing that changes that will be to win things.

Option 1 is never ever going to happen. Ever.

If he goes (still a big if) and there’s no credible major underlying reason for it (e.g he can’t bring his own players in), then I’ll have lost any respect I had for him. It’s a cowards way out to run off to Madrid and pick up some more trophies rather than doing the hard work here.

It’s a major indictment of the club though if it does happen. A manager that Madrid would pay 20 mill to have back above any other was not able to get us higher than tenth because we once again lumbered him with the most cowardly asinine crap squad in football history.

If Ancelotti walks, I want Keane Coleman Davies Siggurdson Gomes Bernard out the club immediately.

Arteta? Rooney, for me. The Rooney sale was the moment all diehard Evertonians had to accept that we were no longer a power in the land, but a feeder club for Man United.

The loss of Carlo - with replacement by Eddie Howe or Nuno - simply confirms our status as the rich-man's Burnley, a club with delusions of grandeur that is finally learning to stay in its lane.

And Brands.

Maybe that statement a few weeks ago when he said he wasnt a magician had more meaning than it was given at the time.

Ancelotti has a great CV but he doesn´t do nothing special this season. Nothing that Silva has not done in is first season in charge, where he finish 8th in the table.

I understand some our fans, we will lose a manager with great reputation, but i understand Carlo. He receive a offer from the biggest club in the world. He has to go, it is a proposal that he can't refuse
