I expected that he wanted to rebuild a club, but perhaps he sees that one person alone cannot change the football system, its a dog eat dog world, maybe going up against Pep's Man City made him realise he had to get out.
Im pretty sad about this - thought he was a good bloke, and he never left a club without them sacking him first, except AC Milan. If AC asked him to go back, I would expect him to, but not Real, let's not forget Perez (and the US owners) tried to hijack the premier league clubs into a super league. Like can fame really be that big of a driver for Carlo, it can't be money, he already has plenty, he has history as well. Why go? It's like when the hot girl goes off with the bad guy, FFS.
