He’s not the problem we are stuck up the creek without a paddle, years and years of bad recruiting and managerial changes are the reason for that. At least the players he did sign in the summer contributed when available and on form.

We’ll see next season when the same crap that was being served up prior to Ancelotti’s appointment will continue.

When we start the season with Iwobi, Sigurdsson, Gomes, Holgate, Delph, Davies, Kenny & Tosun still hanging around like a bad stench all waiting to prove their worth to the new manager (having already seen off about 5 other managers) it’s going to be as you were.

We need to move in the same direction as Chelsea, Leicester, Villa, Brentford etc. The manager will come and go, but players, fans etc need to know what Everton is, currently we are a pension fund for old crocks and a big contract for moderate players who stood out at relegated clubs.

We tried the young manager approach with Silva. We are just going around in circles here. We are a nothing club. There to make up the numbers and for others to get major laughs out of.
