I think this has saved face for all concerned.

He keeps his reputation and we’re rid of a manager who couldn’t motivate a half decent squad. It’s easy to point the finger at the players and the likes of Sigurdsson and Iwobi didn’t help matters, but we should’ve finished top 6 at the very least this season.

He got 2 of his own players, plus Doucoure and Godfrey last summer.... I understand the argument he needed time, but ultimately, he failed. He squandered a golden chance of getting into the top four.

Look at the team we had out against Sheffield Utd FFS!!! He couldn’t get a tune out of those players, 4 of which were signed under his watch.

Good luck to him you dont turn down real Madrid.
As I have said before I has my doubts about him , but want to see how this season played out.
The football we played was stale , boring and outdated, dont think I have ever been so bored watching us .
Anyway on to the next one.

Isn't it amazing how other clubs find their targets and get them quickly sorted while we take weeks to even identify our targets and then further weeks to whittle down the short list and then further weeks to sort out the contract for the target we eventually settle on. We're such a ludicrous club at times.......
