2020/21 Carlo Ancelotti

Our next manager needs to be young, hungry and offer something different.

Brands needs to find and recruit him and Mosh needs to back off and let him do his job.

Bill needs locking in a cupboard until this is all over.

Just tell Richy where he will play, it will be wide left and work on his cutting in and crossing and address our entire right due to lack of pace and quality

This will always be on his record that he left us for dead.
Unfortunately that's the kind of thing that only Everton fans will care about. The rest of the footballing world will only see his successes on his CV. He was never going to win the league with Everton so his 18 months won't be seen as a failure. He's just the latest in a long line of Everton managers to bring mediocrity.

It should be a very shortlist to replace Ancelotti

Conte
Favre
Gaultier

And we need to move quickly to enable the new manager to recruit players ( with or without Brands input).

Got a feeling that Moshiri will do something from left field and go for Rangnick or Low.
Galtier is already off to Nice mate. He isn't on the market.

Fire Brands and get Rangnick as the DoF, proper cultural reset needed.

Does anybody really think that there wasn’t a clause in his contract that said he could leave for a top ranked CL side for free/peanuts?

I’d be astounded if he’d signed for us without one tbh.

The best comment I've seen on this is that 'Carlo the man is better than Carlo the manager'.
I think he's been shown up to be unable to turn an average team into a good, consistent team, as shown by our results this season.
Our final position, home form and attitude of the players speaks volumes I think and perhaps it's true, as has been repeated on here, that he needs a team of superstars that are already doing pretty well that he can take that final step with.
Carlo was a great appointment but he has left us no better off than when he joined us.
18 months of standing still with a handful of decent results in that time.
Cheers Carlo; good luck with your Spanish Scab amigos.

I don't think Allan is the type of player to just leave mate or give up.

He didn't when Carlo left Napoli - Gattuso played him further forward and then dropped him as they'd signed a load of new midfielders.

He also actually came through at Napoli under Sarri IIRC.

That is my feeling with Allan. James and Richarlison less so.

Personally I reckon Richarlison will be made up Ancelotti's gone. He really didn't look like he enjoyed his football last year at all, and that set up did absolutely nothing for him. If he stays - which was always a doubt - I think he's capable of a lot more than Ancelotti got out of him.

Success comes in all forms. Sarri never won anything before going to Chelsea.

He could have stayed one or two more years at Everton get champions league and walked. He could have also walked if he had no success. But running off after one season is just cowardly but shows what type of person he is, and when was the last time anyone criticized Carlo's character? He was seen as the player's manager, he seemed to treat people with respect, and now we can't be sure on anything he says.
