The way we performed at the back end of the season before last made me genuinely excited. Last season started off really well, but somewhere along the line things changed. To me there was a visible difference in his body language from when he started compared to the latter weeks.
Not spending any money in January is not the way to support a supposedly top level manager. Maybe he was promised more money than he actually received. That's not to say he wouldn't have jumped ship to Madrid, but it's very easy to lay 100% of the blame to the manager when we don't know what went on behind the scenes.

With an option to buy our players at a knock down price as well.Probably paid him to leave knowing us...
It’s just all a big comedown isn’t it?Can we remove this from Everton forum please @Groucho @GrandOldTeam
I would like to say a few things but I’m so fuming I can’t without getting banned.
Loved this guy and he totally messed us up and done us over. Completely destroyed his legacy

We had dreamed of the heights of Monte Carlo and now we're left scrabbling in the Potter(ies), asking How(e) did we get into such a position. Hopes evaporated, left with only a fat Spanish waiter for unwanted company.
It’s just all a big comedown isn’t it?
And what lad? That reply does not answer the question asked.
