On the face of it it’s quite a simple tactic, that back 4 barely concedes and when you have James Richarlison and DCL you’ll probably score. The hilarious thing is it’s worked with Siggurdson Davies and Iwobi also.

He is really the Don ain't he. The amount of games that we've won in the past 12 months due to him have the tactical nous to set up us exactly right and drilling the correct idea into the players. Been the odd mistake here or there but no manager in the world gets bang on every single game, no one.

He is slowly erasing this whole "Everton that" mentality, supporters aren't going into tough fixtures anymore already convinced we'll balls it up. That is a massive achievement for any manager considering how deeply-rooted that problem has became in the club over the past few decades. Magnifico, hope he's around for ages.

Holgate goes about his business, no nonsense. For me if we have a player in front who can hurt teams why not have a defender who can defend and is very composed on the ball.
