We stayed in a game we had absolutely no right to win- why?
Because Digne had them pinned for the majority of the game. They had to account for the long ball out wide every time and couldn’t let him get in behind. They couldn’t shrink the field as other sides have done to us. Considering the lack of options and the rise of Godfrey, it was a good adjustment from Carlo.
