Put my mind at ease please......

Is there any danger that CA could have is head turned by a return to Stamford Bridge? He will be on their list I assume, probably not at the top but there. I suspect the answer is a hard no from him, but I wonder.
Can't see it from either party tbh. Carlo seems to be enjoying himself here and is getting paid a fortune. Plus he's been there and done that.

The commute from Crosby is well too far.

Also, he isn't keen on Chelsea's ownership.

I wonder if he'll take his favourite players with him like Bolasie, Besic and Baningime

I think there's large spells of togger which just isn't easy on the eye but I think its okay to say that and be honest. Like I said I think there's factors at play which is a shocking lack of depth. If you give Ancelotti quality players he will have the team playing quality football. His Napoli side was one of the better sides (twice) to go to Annfield for example and play some quality football.

We are a massive work in progress and short in so many positions and then even more short in depth to be able to rotate that I'm a realist that it ain't going to be pretty at times. But the more we win, the better for all concerned because etc be honest its far more fun looking at the league table and where we could be after a win than after a defeat and the frustrations that bring.

In Carlo we trust and I hope we back him to the hilt the next couple of windows and we'll then see what he can really do with a squad.

This style of football is getting the best out of this squad. It's as simple as that.

Carlo doesn't want to install a philosophy. He wants to win. He wants top 4, and he'll take it however we achieve it.

If he was a bar of rock, he'd have winner written within.

We all know about his managerial achievements. but even as a player, he won Serie A x 3, Coppa Italia x 4, European Cup x 3.

He's been a manger for 25 years, and has won it all.

He's literally the don. THE senior manager in world football, no questions asked.

On top of all that, he's 'only' 61.

We're very, very, lucky to have him. I still pinch myself on a daily basis.

It's not gonna be an easy ride though. There's some absolute heavyweights of the game in this country, and it's absolutely mad to think that only 4 out of Arsenal, Man utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, Everton and Man City can get into the Champions League.

No idea what the Italian is for "Fat chance" but strongly suspect that would be his answer to any approach from Chelsea.

he's just brought Allan and Rodriguez here, Not a chance. He's been to virtually every top club apart from City I think we might be his last job unless he takes one of them MLS/China jobs but they don't count do they really.

I'd kick my missus out of bed for him, my love runs that deep for him and his psychotic eyebrow.

Somehow I cannot see Carlo going to MLS or China
I have a feeling he may retire here
Less pressure ,a free rein and he seems to like where he lives
Plus does not get the media attention or pressure he would get at a supposedly bigger club

Strange thing to worry about. But I suppose it beats following Catcher around the witch hunt thread trying to debunk everything he says.

he has said he doesn't need the money (that would come with a move to China) and he has worked at clubs where he is expected to deliver, and he has delivered. Everton are a different challenge for him, a more relaxed challenge but one where he can already see he is moving toward the end goal. He will have a route map in his head on who he needs to move one, what areas he needs to strengthen, he will have a time frame in his head and I reckon he iOS on target. This is something different and it is working as planned so far, why move?
