Wow you make it sound so simple, only that it’s Liverpool away we’ve got on Saturday.
Toughest game of them all for us. But we’re better (results wise) this season against the good teams than we’ve ever been.

Yeah I must admit there’s bigger problems than just missing Allan, but getting him back in there is a start. We had a really bad run of form with him being a regular. I agree he improves the team but it's short sighted to think he turns everything around.
I don't think he knows what to do with these players.
The centre midfielders can't pass the ball quickly enough to play out from the back, and the defence can't push up if it's going to be Keane +1 in the middle, but then it's only really Doucoure who has the legs to chase up the pitch and support direct balls to the forwards.
The squad is still a mess.
I'm surprised Eddie Howe hasn't been touted as a replacement. There are some deeply tortured souls in here. I dunno if all these years of following the club has broken something deep inside them or if they're just the biggest gang of cingey bellends to ever have access to the internet but something is seriously weird about a section of our fans online. The drama that goes on after every single bad result is beyond a parody at this point.......
100%.
Wether people like it or not we are still paying for the previous recruitment.
Could take another 2 years to sort out. And thats even if we hit the bullseye with those brought in.
If we are fighting around the top 6 for the next two years id actualy say its not that bad for this unbalanced limited squad.
The jobs huge. Ancelotti or anyone. The jobs huge.

This. How many consecutive games have we seen the same line up and formation? Changes game to game. He’s just reacting, seems like he’s lost confidence in the squads’ ability to play anything other than park the bus.I don't think he knows what to do with these players.

Here you are wrong. We have an identity. Just because we do not like that identity does not mean we do not have an identity. We play the slightly more modern version of Catenaccio, where we prioritize a reactive approach and the main focus is to prevent the opponent from scoring goals. We therefore prefer not to have the ball, and rather wait for a chance on set pieces. We need a complete overhaul of the squad and we need to define what we are and who we are. I see no identity in this team. And I dont think Ancelotti is the man to give it to us, sadly. He's a pragmatist and I think we need a spot of idealism again.
If we end up out of the top six in a season like this when we had a once in a decade chance to get ourselves in there as other 'top' teams struggled, then I think Moshiri has another decision to make. I'd be ok with Ancelotti staying on and being given another go, but I wouldn't be gutted to see him go either.

That is our current identity due to the players available. It wasn't the case earlier in the season when we had players all fit and firing. This is what gives me hope that with a few more additions we can play attractive and winning football. It's not like Allardyce who would always have played that way. Here you are wrong. It's as though people think players who have failed under lesser managers can somehow become different players under a genuine class manager.
A dud is a dud and we have a lot of them in the squad.
He'll get backed in the summer.
And the Great Unwashed are still to arise from their slumber. The day is still early.
