What I was hoping for was whilst the new owners wait for the process of the takeover to be completed, a thorough review of the club took place. It may of been done already and I was certainly hoping a full time CEO would be there day one.
Then once they took over, changes started to be implemented and on the pitch, we look to pick up points which we did against City, Chelsea , Arsenal and look to Forest and Bournemouth as potential victories, all the while with a plan in place that should things go wrong, which they have again, there are plans in place to deal with that.
Then once a new manager comes in, the club itself has already begun making changes for the better, so when they come in, they have less of a chance of it being another paper over the cracks job.
Dyche isn’t a long term answer, to say the least. And you’re right we are in a terrible place. I blame the club. The culture stinks. It’s no coincidence so many ex players, some that many fans regard as legends, have hardly said anything publicly or if at all, about a club they are strongly associated with that has regressed substantially over three decades.
“Second half was more like it” Darren Griffiths to the manager yesterday. Says everything.
