Sad stuff mate. Hope she comes back healthy eventually. So happy mine is an indoor cat. No desire to leave the house
Agreed, I dont know how people have these cats that go AWOL, but by the same token they clearly have a more exciting life I suppose.

Not judging by the way, as owners we have to decide early on what type of cat we want, there is no right answer.

Mine wasn't that adventurous until that moment mate, I leave her a gap and she usually ventures as far as the stairs to the villa downstairs.

My first cat, never expected to be worried to this level by one leaving but I've had her since 10 weeks, boss little animal.

Well, just got lucky in my case I guess. Got mine from the animal shelter 5 years ago. Took her out, in my arms, one day to show the neighbours kid. She was terrified, my arm and face full scratches, and she full speed back into the house.

We went on holiday once and left the mother in law to look after her, she hates cats, but to her credit she stepped in.

Anyway when we got home she said she hadnt seen her for 4 days, she hadnt touched her food or used the tray.

So off I went with a torch at 1am, was out for over an hour, we of course checked her usual spots in the house.

Finally resigned myself that was it, a few hours later the cupboard under the stairs bursts open and out she strolled like a QUEEN.

Hahaha, had a similar experience with Binbag. Hearing her meows all night, zero sleep.
Got up 4 times that night expecting to see her at the front door, no dice.

Had a crap about 6AM and heard familar noises, little nobhead had jumped in the cupboard when I was sorting the washing.
