Just heard that today is officially the last day for Ceefax.... it will end today when the last analogue signal is turned off somewhere in Northern Ireland.

RIP Ceefax.

It will be a miss, it might have been slow at times but it certainly beats it's modern incarnation on digital TV.

My last telly had the 302 page burned into the screen. Any program i watched had BBC FOOTBALL across the top of it.

I used to quite like listening to the music when I skived school. They had a couple of hours programme break during the day and would just have ceefax and music played by the bbc orchestra.
