good decision by him and the club. 1 year contract everyones a winner.
Sounds like Maradona coaching Argentina, if he is as tactically inept as Diego Armando is.Lennon is the best man for the job, its a slap in the face that they have made the fans wait so long....
They complain that season book sales are low but yet they wouldnt appoint a manager......anyway, Lennon....best man for the job, Celtic to the core and he will make us a force again! Hes someone the fans will want to support, someone the players will want to play for and he also hates the manky mob the same as the fans do!
Loved his interview aswell, " I will make my players go to war every game " as apposed to Mowbrays "Were just going to have to take it on the chin "

Get in!!
He looked like he was out of his depth in that Scottish Cup semi against the might of Ross County, mate. I understand where you're coming from. But Alan Ball was a big Evertonian, and I wouldn't have wanted him as a manager! Good luck to him, he's going to need it, imo.
Says it all though: 1 year contract. That's not much faith being shown. I hope he does well because he's had to put up with some [Poor language removed] in his career. But a handful of bad results and he'll be out by Christmas. If I was Lennon I wouldn't trust that snide, war-monger John Reid as fas as I could throw him.
Note how Moyes is the only one with the natural hip thrust, the very first thing you learn as a model. He's got it goin' awn.
Maybe he is the right man for the job. Sometimes good number twos dont cut it as manager. Time will tell I suppose. I hope he does it and puts Smith into retirement once and for all.
As for money: Celtic are even worse than Everton for prising open the biscuit tin and backing managers. Unless there's a takeover at Celtic I think Lennon might struggle to get those type of demands on the board through. Probably sell to buy?
There will be money but no doubt there will be a sell to buy mentallity, Mowbray spunked away £12 mil last season so it will have hit us hard.
Think McGeady will be off £8mil+..............paired with the fact that there NEEDS to be a dramatic facelift on and off the pitch.
