Winger system !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes what do you think playing wide players that cross all the time instead of cutting in to shoot is?

Everton's basically playing a winger system with some hoofball.

Without a target man to get on the end of em

Guys a huge beast with a rocket header, he can dribble and finish discipline is something that can be corrected, Wayne Rooney was pretty much the same? And Luis Suarez and Diego Costa.

Also he suits Everton's winger system..
Just watched his goals on YouTube.

He is very good in the air. Unfortunately he doesn't look to solve our chronic lack of pace.

Yes I am suggesting that all four of those players are better at any position other than CF than DCL. I don't think it's close.

I did read your post and while I agree it's where he should play, he's not good enough to be playing anywhere PERIOD. We have had wingers playing the last game or so on both sides. Sam has had Lennon playing the 7 virtually every game since Sam took over. So yes, we do indeed play wingers.

We've also played DCL with one of the best service players on the planet and he can't convert anything into goals. He's scored 3 times in 1524 minutes in the EPL. Niasse has 5 in 1/3 of the minutes.

DCL has talent and his future is bright. But he's still just a kid. He's 20. He has moments of good and is on a run of bad. He shouldn't be counted on to lead the line on an EPL team, which is why we are bringing in at least one and hopefully two CFs.
Good to know who doesnt have a clue what they are talking about. Wake me up when Lennon scores a goal.

Which he didnt do anything before his injury(14 matches, 1 goal), and considering hes just getting back from a severe injury thats even more reason someone else should be playing in his spot, if the lengthy injury is indeed still effecting his performance.

I was just pointing out the fact to lump bolasie in with your argument of not producing as really all that fair. As far as everything else you said i.e. about walcott....I could not agree more.

Bolasie 16/17
14 matches 1 goal & 4 assists. TBF

He isn't slow pretty average pace for a striker, he could be the focal point of the attack holding up the ball and flicking it on for the quicker wingers and advancing cm's, he has a very powerful shot and is going to be hard for defenders to beat to a cross as he's very tall and can jump very well.

I could see him scoring a lot from crosses and set pieces, he's also aggressive and brave so will get stuck in for shots and takes people on.

From his recent comments he's got a point to prove and wants game time to be able to play for Serbia so he's going to put a shift in.

WINGER SYSTEM

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

lollollollollollollol

DCL wishes he was half as good at footy as Bolasie.

The obsession some of you have over this incredibly middling player is astounding to me.
Does he? I have been very fair with DCL and said hes not nearly good enough to be our #1 striker, but I guess thats convenient to ignore.

But even then, the obsession SOME of you have over this incredibly middling player in Bolasie is astounding. His goal/assist rate is lower than even the woeful DCL per 90 minutes, and in a season where DCL has had no help playing hoofball. Further, LAST season when Bolasie had a good striker in Lukaku to play with, not only did he not produce, but in games before his injury we earned 1.36 points per game. After his injury? 1.75 points per game. And those first 14 games we only played 3 top 6 sides, so the last portion of the season was more difficult.

I also dont think its entirely a coincidence the good stretch of games under BFS ended immediately after Bolaise returned, playing 61 minutes in a draw to west brom, 19 minutes against Bournemouth(during which the winning goal was scored), and 62 minutes against Man U.

He's 1.83 m's tall. Easy now champ.

WINGER SYSTEM

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

play with one striker and two often pure wingers who can't score to save their lives and just cross all game..

And if they aren't then the full backs are doing the exact same thing.

Bolasie, Lennon, Vlasic and mirallas how often do these guys score? All they do is make runs and cross or pass the ball off 90 percent of the time they are not inside forwards.
