play with one striker and two often pure wingers who can't score to save their lives and just cross all game..

And if they aren't then the full backs are doing the exact same thing.

Bolasie, Lennon, Vlasic and mirallas how often do these guys score? All they do is make runs and cross or pass the ball off 90 percent of the time they are not inside forwards.
Wingers would suggest we have players who go forward with width. We do not play like that. We have no wing play.

Does he? I have been very fair with DCL and said hes not nearly good enough to be our #1 striker, but I guess thats convenient to ignore.

But even then, the obsession SOME of you have over this incredibly middling player in Bolasie is astounding. His goal/assist rate is lower than even the woeful DCL per 90 minutes, and in a season where DCL has had no help playing hoofball. Further, LAST season when Bolasie had a good striker in Lukaku to play with, not only did he not produce, but in games before his injury we earned 1.36 points per game. After his injury? 1.75 points per game. And those first 14 games we only played 3 top 6 sides, so the last portion of the season was more difficult.

I also dont think its entirely a coincidence the good stretch of games under BFS ended immediately after Bolaise returned, playing 61 minutes in a draw to west brom, 19 minutes against Bournemouth(during which the winning goal was scored), and 62 minutes against Man U.

Trying to make out like DCL is better than Bolasie doesn't appear to be a fair statement to me.

I've not seen anywhere near the level of obsession of Bolasie's ability as I have over DCL. Some lads won't hear any criticism against him as he's a "work in progress".

We'll take a look at them stats you seem so keen to throw around.

Last year Bolasie managed one goal and four assists in 13 matches(1028 minutes) for 205.60 minutes per goal/assist. He also created a lot more that never got finished off.

This year DCL has managed three goals and four assists in 22 matches (1524 minutes) for 217.71 minutes per goal/assist. A slightly better goal return but that's what you'd expect given that he has been playing as a striker and that he's played more minutes in total.

Talking about the team finding form after Bolasie's injury as if that was all down to him is laughable. Koeman couldn't figure out what his starting 11 should be and where he should be playing Barkley.

Honestly just assumed you were as well, seeing as it's a Cenk Tosun thread xD

My mistake.

Haha no problem just stating you could sign cenk Tosun + Mitrovic on loan as Rafael wants rid and is willing to let him go on loan with a buy option, makes sense to get two strikers in rather than be stuck in the same situation as when it was just lukaku who was a decent striker and everyone else was naff that played backup.

Come on now Gareth. We’ve all had a lot of fun pal.
Such a negative Nancy aren't you mate :D lighten up it's a forum.

To be on topic I think Cenks a good choice as a number 9, he is a very clinical striker which is what Everton lacks but he is used to having support so something would have to change to accommodate him I reckon.

Read back mate I already made it known I am not a 'true' born a blue, blue I'm a Blade with a soft spot for Everton (my prem league team), I started following Everton back when jags came over, he was my favourite player at the time.

Then I married a true blue and started going to the matches.

If his FM ratings and attributes are anything to go by he will be a very good signing, he's also had a stellar season for besiktas.

Obviously I'm primarily a Sheffield united fan, but my OH is a proper Evertonian and over the years I've grown a soft spot for them, I have to watch every match with her and wear the shirt and listen to all the foul language lol been to a fair few of the matches in the past three years too.

The thought of Cenk Tosun signing has made me feel excited to watch Everton again tbh and I think this lad is a safe bet he will double in price after a season in the prem and he's definitely got the makeup of a strong two footed poacher who finds himself in the right place at the right time, from what I've seen he looks a lot like Alan Shearer in style.

Do you watch a lot of Beskitas mate? You seem very excited.
