And He played a lot as a left winger when he was in Besiktas. Surprised dcl was on the pitch instead of Cenk. Maybe Sam decided to keep him fresh for Arsenal game not sure idk. If he won’t be at starting lineup against Arsenal then we lose him.

To be honest, I'm not. It was obvious DCL was brought on to pressure the Leicester defense and he did a decent job. Had we gone 3-nil up (which we had several opportunities to do) Tosun would've ended up on the pitch tonight.

I think people are reading way too much into Tosun not playing. BFS thought he was too rash in playing Tosun already considering he will be isolated up front. He went to a proven player who had scored last week. Even hes not insane enough to just permanently bench the player he just spent 22 million on.

Not bothered about Niasse but your burying your head in the sand if you can't see why everyones confused/worried:

Tosun signed because DCL isnt good enough/doesnt score.

DCL comes off the bench ahead of Tosun when we are needing that 3rd goal.

Dcl has more experience in the pr. League, and he did a good job when he came on, helping to keep pressure away from us. So in hindsight the sub was good, but my choice at the time he was brought on would have been tosun.

Will never have a problem with DCL coming on late w/ a lead. He's usually never good for a goal but can do those irritating things that keep the ball in the attacking half.

Today was the perfect conditions for cenk to be get in the game and score 3rd. niasse was meh and cenk was burning with passion to prove himself so wasn't it MAYBE ok to put him in 70s to hold the ball upfront,run and press like a horny man and maybe score the relief goal?
I guess not.

Either tosun is an absolute mess in training or everton have once again mismanaged a new player by showing no confidence in them. If he does not start against arsenal then we will be selling him in the summer for sure.

Unbelievable how badly the club is signing and managing pkayers.
