Hi Guys,

Firstly i have to say that im one of the turkish (bjk) fans like the others that you see)

I watched the match tonight..

First think that i have, tottenham did not playba superior game. Yeah score may be seen like that.. Unfortunately, - totally subjective comment - everton’s play style is totally based on physical struggle and i think again old school PL style..

Because of this, There's a big difference between Pep's team and the rest of the clubs.. (klopp’s liverpool is out this sort)..

Everton or any other club, does not matter, has to carry ball to frontline if they want to score and besides the play continous mostly at attack field.. but everton today cant move to ball and i think midfielders just physically good but not technically.. sorry but, according to this match at least me, i am feel so hopeless.. logically we can say that everton plays with these midfielders, wings..

But actually, there is an other problem to score..

Playing strategy.. cenk tried some short passes to direct siggy and the others, some reverse passes..

If Sam All, do not think, direct passes, little triangles or etc like all about technical ability of total team.. i think cenk or another one can not help your team..

I think there is a hard situation in front of sam and everton fans..

I highly wonder how sam create a team that can make attack..

Plus, if tonight you cant score then again this score is meaningless..(yeah spurs won in dortmund and real but both of team are wide and attack playing teams)..

Briefly, spurs not so good i think everton was soo much bad tonight.. passing faiks, disorderly teamwise movement and something like that..

I wonder next match to show how the team is step forward..

The problem is the players - it was before and it is now - we've swapped our 2 best players who had a turn of pacer for plodders in rooney and sigurdsson.
They've obviously been acquired with no thought given as to how they'd be used plus the absence of 2 of our quickest players in coleman & bolassie has been a recipe for disaster.

Not sure Everton know we're they're going at the minute - I certainly don't.

I'll assess Allardyce at the end of the season - he's dealing with the same issues Koeman & Unsworth had to so its the least he deserves IMO.

I am really baffled with what i saw today. i missed the game today so i recorded it and only just watched it now and i am so confused with what i saw throughout the game. firstly cuco martina,? is he a defender,? could not work it out with him. he was absolutely involved with all the tottenham goals, he has no idea where and how to defend. he was just not in the game at all. he lost his man every single time, he was the one that ruined the offside conceeding the first goal he stopped running after kane for the second goal and was just wondering around for the 3rd and 4th goals. just watch the replays and you will see. also another player that was just wondering around was rooney. he is suppose to be a midfield player yet when tottenham had the ball he was just standing around the center of the field watching the game waiting for his team mates to win the ball. he is suppose to go back and help yet he did not do that at all. Cenk was hovering around at the top of the field as a single striker would do and rooney was almost near him watching the game. so basically everton is playing with 9 men everytime tottenham went forward. and when everton won the ball they all ran away from whoever had the ball no one going in to ask for the ball no one helping, no one asking for the ball. it was shambles. no 15 cuco martina, i wouldnt choose him to play in a 5 a side with my locals.
this is a cenk tosun thread so i will finish with him. he won nearly if not all the long balls that came his way in the AIR. he headed them down towards most of the time an everton player yet no one can get them rebounds. he held the ball well a couple of times and again no support. there was not a single pass that i can remember which even an attempt of a pass for him while he was in the box. and the only time he connected with the ball is the corner he headed to rooney which was offside. overall cenk tosun done very well on his first game and should never have been subbed. rooney should of come off a long time ago and cuco martina shouldnt of played and should never play for everton again.
one descent left back, one decent creative midfield player should turn things around for everton. i will be watching closely the next few games and maybe my opinion might change but so far cuco and rooney should not be playing for everton.

I thought he was ok put himself about. Looks unfortunately though like he doesn’t really create his own chances which rom was able to do

Therefore we need to provide him with chances which we simply arnt doing and haven’t for years now. We lack creativity and pace so badly. How many years have we heard moyes and Martinez say the same thing that we fail to create in the final third. Why hasn’t this been rectified

Thought he did OK, will hopefully get fitter and therefore better

..he looked capable of linking up and also won a few headers. He looked technically ok with his back to goal and physically ok to compete. We looked incapable of creating anything from out wide and rarely got close to him centrally. I’d much prefer Sigurdsson to play no10 because that also opens up a wide berth for a conventional winger.

Only a cameo, but Tosun already looks our best CF option.
