Spot on mate.
5 mins in, they sum it up brilliantly. He'll score, but we've gotta get it into the bloody box.
By my reckoning we've scored 6 goals while he's been on the pitch that he could theoretically have scored. The first one at Wolves, both against Southampton, Keane at Bournemouth, the third against Rotherham and DCL's against Huddersfield. All of those goals came from crosses/passes which he didn't play, in to areas that he could quite easily have been in. And yet he wasn't. Doesn't it seem weird that we've managed to put people in positions to score at least 6 times, but not been able to do it even once for him? Unless he's partly responsible himself of course, and isn't getting himself into position to score.

He's doing OK so far, but this idea that he's just being starved of service is ridiculous. He needs to do more to get on the scoresheet, not just wait for someone to deliver him a goal on a silver platter.

Perhaps Tosun is partly responsible for the positions he is (isn't) getting in. But I truly believe the quantity of the service we've delieved just has not been there. Also real credit has to go to DCL, he continuously gets into brilliant areas and its a testament to the young lad. DCL did that last year as well, but in a normal world DCL finds a way to butcher the pill and put it into the stands, rather than score.

He does most things well, he just lacks mobility which in this league is kind of a big deal. He'll be an okay stop gap for the time being but can't ever see him being prolific or being the long term answer

Yeah don't get me wrong, it's not like we're creating countless chances or anything. I just think he's getting a little bit of a free pass in that regard, I can't recall too many times where I've thought a better pass would have given him a tap in (like Niasse had at Wolves) or someone ignoring a good run in order to go themselves (like he did to Walcott at Wolves) so I think he could maybe do with getting himself into better areas because chances are obviously there.

Looks like that Cenk's services might be wanted at Guangzhou Evergrande.
WTF is that ?

Sounds like an energy drink, maybe they`ll want Lookman too.
I’d love it if a Chinese club throw ridiculous money at one of our players but I like Cenk.

Can’t they buy Niasse for £50m instead?
They give 40m euros for Cenk.

They have the most money in the league + win the title every season.

€40mil is just over £35mil.

I'd take it.

Where have the links come from i wonder...could this be a Brands move?

I don't think cenk will go china before his 30s. china is a typical career drop for players and he is in the middle of "my time to shine" years in his career.
