Yes I agree but does Calvert Lewin do that?. I think the service to our forwards needs to improve also I just think on a one on one situation for example Cenk would have better chance slotting that’s my opinion.

One of the problems in our team is how poor our forwards are with the ball at their feet. Unless they receive it 9 yards out there is absolutely no danger of them doing anything other than controlling it and laying it off. I think it contributes to one of the reasons why our service is so poor because in modern football it's very rare for a team to just have a player down the middle who is basically there to score goals and do nothing else. You need everyone being capable in the build up.

I disagree, mildly. In a GOOD side, the striker has to strike and little else. In a BAD (Evertonian) side, the striker needs to play like a midfielder

Yeah it all links up, the forwards need to make themselves available in space or make runs for the creative players to pick them out. We struggle at this, but this has been a problem for years. We do something really good like defend but can’t score. then we change to we can score but leak just as many at the back now it’s we struggle to score and defensively we have lost it, especially at set pieces. But going back to our forwards we simple not got the firepower up top right now. I will support anyone who wears the blue I don’t care. I just think finishing wise Cenk is the best right now, Moise kean will come good but he is still young and raw. Calvert-Lewin works hard and has improved in few areas like his hold up play for one. His finishing need to improve a lot and his power at times seems like a back pass to the keeper. But yet again not his fault he has the pressure as our number 9. For me though I think if he can improve his positional sense in attacking scenarios he can become a very good striker. I’m not saying top class but definitely 15 goals a season. He just needs to know when to run in-front of his marker and when to peel off round the back. Does this he can get more chances and hopefully get a few more goals.
