wait , what , we have a PR team ??

Well they tend to delegate a perso all pr lad to individuals. They've hired hired this fella called Dave for our last two 'progressive' managers. He floods the net with very well thought out positive mantras. It's bought them bought considerable amounts of time. Fella must be a millionaire. But he has to have a team under him his productivity is staggering. one man can't possibly dilute all the truth.

You don't have to go that far back in time or that far away to see why people may be against wearing one. No one forces James McClean to wear it yet, everytime it's that's time of year again and he doesn't wear it, he gets abused by the media, fans and everyone else in between.

If people have a right to wear one then people should have a right not to wear one whatever their reasoning. Especially when the Government and Crown have allowed or told soldiers to commit war crimes and kill civilians. You only have to look up collusion in Ireland to see why McClean and other Irish people may be against wearing one.

Patriotism, Politics and Religion etc should be kept out of sport, if it is kept out then there's no issues. Just like Cenk should have kept his salute celebrations locked away.

And now every other player (Germans, Irish, Indian, Pakistani, American, French, Spanish) and the players of other 100 countries that have suffered at the hands of the British Army during war or the war crimes now feel they have to wear a poppy, or get vilified.

Someone tell me the poppy isn't political! It is about 10% to commemorate those who died in WWI and WWII (which very few have an issue with), 90% propaganda/recruitment tool.

How would those who wear the poppy feel about Lookman and Sancho being compelled or forced to wear a German version?

Are you really believing that? I take it you do not like us having armed forces? Do you think the Germans, Italians, French and Americans did not kill? It was alright then for our cities to be bombed? What about currently all the mid east battles? It was okay for the IRA to kill civilians just ask Jeremy, he thought so.

As for Tosun that is what they do in Turkey just like ours stand for the national anthem.

But really leave this now and stick to football.

Nothing to do with Corbyn or paramilitaries and nothing to believe or disbelieve, its fact. Cameron, while PM, actually came out and apologised for crimes commited where civilians were shot down in cold blood in Derry, where McClean is from. Like you say let's leave it now. Conclusion, Tosun should keep his beliefs for off the pitch as should all other politics be kept off the pitch.

Precisely. Tragic what's happening to the Kurds and not at all pleased with Cenk's actions but trying to curtail his right to express himself is inherently fascist.
What about if he put on a white gown and held up a Die Hard with a Vengeance style "I hate Naggers" (not original spelling) sign and paraded it round Goodison Park? Still acceptable as it's him expressing himself? He should be sacked, but obviously won't be punished.

This thread has taken a turn for the bizarre...

Hopefully hes made to train on his own, fined 2 weeks wages (if thats the max) and never seen again until news of his sale hits the press in Jan.

Operarion halted, Turks and Kurds agreed on the buffer zone and the YPG leaving the area and in the process there is ceasefire. No violence happening.

Cenk back on tranining with the team, now let's hammer the Hammers.
