I think you answered your own point there...

Harsh on Gbamin who had no preseason games and about 1 weeks training.

Will be Gbamin and Gomes going forward. The others as backup.

Next season is where we will add some cherries on top of the squad.

I wasn’t one of those saying ‘Really pleased for Gana, getting his dream move’. I would have told him he has a contract and is staying.

Anyway.. not judging Gbamin yet and Delph is a decent player.

Yep small time to hell some of our fans were over that.

Gomes and Gbamin will be decent together I think but we need Delph to stay fit as an option for when Gbamin is off form.

Schnerderlin is a liability and Davies isnt good enough.

Gbamin does look like he'll need time...no one expected to see him play today including himself.

He didn't paint himself well, but he did also state in an interview that he wasn't ready at all. More on silva that one.

I think Delph and Gomes will work reasonably well, but let's not sugar coat it - we're going to miss Gana dreadfully and be constantly more exposed at the back all season, unless Gbamin fits in very quickly.

It's early days, but I reckon we'll have to be inventive and use different formations and players like Sigurdsson and Bernard pulled further back.
