Think is though.....I dont want them out the champs league. No one are going to beat Barca this year but the RS will be concentrating on the league if they go out which I dont want.

I wouldn't put it past the ****e though given their track record of luck in these competitions.

I'd rather they go out now.

It'll knock their confidence though, mate. And one thing you have to hand to the RS, they're excellent in one-off cup matches. On their day, they could beat Barcelona. So glad to see them exit before they get the opportunity to go further.

The way I see it - Chelsea and United (if they stay in) are all in cup competitions and are the RS closest challangers.

Utd look tired who's back 4 are dodgy. Chelsea are just a few points too far from catching them. The RS only have to concentrate on winning 8 games and that's it. And they dont look too tired.

The RS wouldnt beat Barca. Barca would have to throw it away to get beat by Chelski or the RS. I dont think any of those teams could stop an in-form Messi, Eto and Henry running at them with Xavi just cleaning up behind.

The only saving grace is Utd's game in hand.

Chelsea were the better team on the night. Had plenty of chances, Drogba missed some sitters.

Torres and Kuyt had a few good chances but they did nothing in the 2nd half.

Essien kept Stevie GBH quiet all game.

So, 4-1 to the rs at Stamford Bridge then.

I wish i was joking but you haven't been paying attention if you think this tie is over.

Frankly, there is more atmosphere on the moon than that lot made tonight. Goodison was rocking for the Villareal game a few seasons ago in a CL qualifier. This was a SF! Their pitiful decline started EXACTLY nineteen years ago today, Sunday April 8 1990 at Villa Park. FA Cup SF v Palace. Sadly.......er.....we still talk about it today!
