shut up or you will get a ban ,you have been warned now keep your trap shut, dont post unless you want a bum or a pizza just keep quite. ps havnt seen this davies lad but it must be worth a look cant be any worse than what we have yank players that i have seen tend to have a good will to win so maybe it will rub of on a few
ha ha ,i know mate

thats the way shut the f//k up or your banned ,like you did to me , the lads everton mad, no wonder theres lads in there droves leaving this place .no way to talk to lads

Yeah, they're leaving in droves. Whatever will we do? It's those mods. There are other Everton forums, You're welcome to go find one.

Wow hang on what do you mean on the rail , what for giving my opinion, that's what the forum's for isn't it , what's the swearing for fella [Poor language removed] ??? I can't remember me calling anyone that

What's that all about Foxy , swearing at forum users , your right what you said no wonder people have stopped posting their info , I see what you mean now ...... Baffled here

Baffled. Let me explain it one more time. Give a fact based opinion or don't give one at all. Is it really that hard for you to understand?

Kay if I give my opinion on a league, ok using a so called swear word ( ****e) that's ok for someone to say shut the **** up [Poor language removed] ???? Surely not , especially when you don't know the person your saying it too

See above.

Brian McBride came here at a time when the MLS was a lot, lot worse than it is now and scored four goals in eight games for us.

This Davies fella is apparently very quick and attack minded. For those reasons alone he's worth a punt given we still have Anichebe on the verge of a game for the first team when he shouldn't be playing professional football in the Premier League at all, ever.

I've been trying to put to the back of my mind for months and now you've ruined it
Kitchen and sharp knife beckons

Signed Davies on FIFA 11, scored on his debut as a substitute on a fast break... Tells me all I need to know. Sign him up Moyes!!1!1

That's an insult to Evertonian's that we sell our best players and replace them with ****e hawk's like big Denis , they then tell us the money's not gone to the banks , the day after Moyes says the money 's tight and we get linked with this fella for less than a million , I'd rather we didn't sign anyone than him , he ain't good enough for EFC , Landon Donavon is the only person playing in that MLS ****e I'd even consider and even he'd be touch and go and he'd cost ya 6 plus million

I take it you don't watch much MLS...

As for MLS players, I could name five right now off the top of my head that would/could start for Everton much less make the squad: DeRo, Joseph, Becks, Donovan, Gonzalez, Cameron...oh, wait, that's six.

I would add Henry, Brad Davis, Montero, Olave, Shea, George John, Lindpere, and Marquez as players that are arguably better than some players on the Everton side

I didnt get to watch many dc games this year. Is Davies back to form?
His biggest asset was his unreal pace before the accident and in the only dc game I saw he definitely did not have the pace anymore. Has the potential to work out well, but I'm more excited over a return of Donovan than I am the prospect of Davies.

$1.2 million is too much for Davies. Move on.

He has lost a lot of that acceleration. He doesn't work in the system we have. I think he would be best paired with an advanced forward. I'm tired of seeing Davies. Apparently, he's suing Red Bull because they hosted the event that intoxicated the driver that eventually crashed the car that he broke curfew in.

Two points:
- Even by watching the league, its hard to discern its place. This is true for any league, really. All you can really determine is how good a player is as compared to others on the pitch. Put him in a different league, and he is a different player. See, Bilyaletdinov, Diniyar.

Too true. Look at Stuart Holden. He was a good player at Houston but many (myself included) didn't see him making much of a splash in England. Lo and behold he becomes arguably one of Bolton's key players. Shame about his multiple broken legs since then. Why are all the promising USA players suffering major injuries?!

In any case, as an avid follower of MLS, I can assure you folks that there are a lot of players who could play in the Prem. That doesn't mean there aren't a lot of awful ones too. As far as Davies goes, though, he hasn't seemed up to par since returning. For what it's worth, I ran into him a month ago and didn't get the impression he wants to stay with DC though...

Boy would I be upset to see Marquez in an Everton shirt... Lindpere could be huge though. Possibly the best player in MLS.

Don't forget Mauro Rosales, he was a very good player at Ajax and River Platt, I might be biased, but he can definitely hang with the big boys.

No way. Couldn't even stay in the starting lineup at DC United.

If you want an American who can score than I say Edson Buddle. Former Galaxy striker and currently in Bundesliga2. His team is going down and he has a relegation clause. Also his coach has waived him from the last game before the winter break.

We don't really know why he was dropped for the last game since he is the highest scorer on the team. He is like 30 or 31 now but McBride was the same age when he came over.
