tbf mate I'd rather be 2-0 up with better players on the pitch and then consolidate with subs if need be.

He's so far ahead of Doucoure and what he offers as a footballer it's embarrassing if anyone has any defence of why he's not in the starting 11.

Is Alacaraz a world beater? Nope.
Is he miles and miles and miles ahead of Doucoure and what he can offer to the team? Yep.

Wouldn’t disagree mate, but he’s hugely impactful from the bench, it’s a full on strategy.

Most PL teams can change half their out field players, we’ve only really Charly and maybe Young off the bench at the moment to change it.

Bringing Doucoure on, I don’t think makes the type of impact Charly does.

A number 10 really should be able to control the ball and pass under pressure. He does that. The lad he replaced doesn't. So... we have questions here.

It was a game crying out for someone with a bit of drive and thats what he gave us. His acceleration and quick feet that got beto's chance was very impressive

He was good. I'd rather start him in the April matches then bench him towards the end of the season if we don't want to trigger the clause. Tbh though I'd rather we just sign him.

Early days but he looked good again. Looks to be clearly the better player there, but I suspect Doucoure will still get a number of starts so as to not trigger his required buy clause.

He is a quick aggressive player with an good first touch and looks to drive forward all the time. He has a very high ceiling this lad. We've really got to sign him so there's no point worrying about this 8 game nonsense. Play him every week and take up the option to buy.

Definitely should've started if we were so content to let them have the ball. If we're playing on the break I'd trust Alcaraz to take it forward the few times we have it than Doucoure who apart from the early chance didn't really support Beto a whole lot.

If we sign him for £15m then he will already be worth £20-£25m immediately. No brainer to sign him

Besides the obvious skills he brings, it’s all the intangibles, too. He’s got that fire in him. Gets in people’s faces some. He intimidates. Everton has missed a presence like that.

Start Doucoure and sub Alcaraz on after 2 minutes every match. Easy.

Went missing for 20 minutes of the first half on his last start and had a tendency to give the ball away in dangerous positions so I can see why Moyes isn't starting him but he's a big upgrade on Docoure. Hope he gets more minutes and we sign him, then Moyes works out a system that utilises him next season.
