But the playing for two clubs rule is a Fifa on. But one thing South America is summer there, now. Has Flamingo's season just started? Is that the loop hole?

I think we're dealing with the overlapping season exemption. Since the Brazilian 2025 season has just started he's technically only played for one club this season if you base it on the season of the country of origin. Think this is why the overlapping exemption exists to avoid getting bogged down in when different seasons start and end.

No it’s just ended.

I wouldn't go as far as to say "great", but he did enough to make me think he was a good player.

That said, I still don't quite understand how he ended up at Flamengo. His star was quite high, then he went to Juve on loan but got a couple of injuries.

How did he go from that to Flamengo? That's a question mark for me.

But, he's been on our radar a while. This is the 3rd time we've tried to sign him that's been reported, so clearly he's someone in the N'Diaye category of us having had on our list for a while and eventually the opportunity has come up. I don't mind this sort of thing. (It's also why I think there's a better than average chance we go back for Broja in the summer).
