Transfer Rumour Che Adams

Are you suggesting that in private, he is all smiles as regards the clubs transfer business to date?

If the answer is no, then, and I understand why, he has gone along with his employer. It's hardly unheard of.
You have zero idea what he doing behind the scenes. Totally made up guff to further an already bad situation

There defo is like. We apparently had a £40mil deal all agreed for Diaz, but needed to get James’ wages off the books first.

Since then we’ve probably halved our wage bill sold about £200m worth of players and seen next to zilch in terms of spend.

Put it down to incompetence if you want, but for us to be continually weakening the playing squad year on year with the way things are going, something is defo going on.

I think we’re genuinely in for Adam’s like and were with the likes of Gnonto, too.
It’s our laughable payment terms which are the issue.
They’re not ohantom bids though, just utterly crap

Whichever way you cut it they amount to pantom bids.

Try going into Sainsbury's and telling them that you're interested in a cooked chicken then ask them if you can pay for it 10p per week for the next 50 weeks.
Yeah, this is what I’m getting at.

Club bids for a player knowing full well they’re not going to get said player for the terms we’re offering.

“We tried right up to the wire, tough market etc.”

“We offered them ‘not quite’ what they needed to reach an agreement - but we tried to get it done”

If we're haggling over £5m up front, we probably have zero money, just as we suspected. Makes the Chermiti signing even more baffling. I'm wondering how much the manager wanted him, and whether not using him is down to showing that

It's the easiest thing in the world for Everton to be in the market for players, but they aren't a serious proposition in that market.

They know that and it amounts to a cruel deception.

The likes of Myers know it too.

Everton supporters deserve better than this. Those people who pay good money especially for season tickets and merchandise - there they are putting a proportion of their dwindling spending money in well in excess of the proportion that any club director or even owner does.

This huge fraud needs calling out.

I personally believe the Diaz one was. If not the money’s gone somewhere.
I mean, from memory, the terms we offered were terrible (shock horror) but the bid(s) seemed to be made.

I honestly think people are mistaking bids (terms) that only a few clubs would accept with phantom bids. We do actually want to sign the player and, ultimately would pay big fees for them, just not a lot upfront as we know

Just smacks of more amateur decision making. The club must know how much money they have to spend. The priority should be players who can come straight into the team and improve us. Deals like Chermiti should happen after this if/when
there are funds left over and we’re happy with other signings we’ve made. To blow a chunk of the limited cash available on a player Dyche won’t let anywhere near the pitch is negligent.

Corporate needs you to find the difference between this picture and this picture.
