Possibly or possibly not Tbf he scored more than most of our playersBecause he’s rubbish?
That’s not really that difficult though. 2 > 1 etc.Possibly or possibly not Tbf he scored more than most of our players
So we recognise he is better than what we have interesting. Tbf there are far worse players out there. That’s not really that difficult though. 2 > 1 etc.
His PL statistics are similar to Maupay’s, and have never been stellar, so what convinces you that he will a) perform better and b) do the job required? So we recognise he is better than what we have interesting. Tbf there are far worse players out there.
But sure he is rubbish.
Tbh it our fans snobbery and ridiculous nature to transfers. Many players don’t have the best stats but are effective. His PL statistics are similar to Maupay’s, and have never been stellar, so what convinces you that he will a) perform better and b) do the job required?
A (PL) mean goal per season ratio of 6.25 and a goal per game of 4.73 isn’t convincing me. Maupay’s are 6.75 and 4.77 by the way*
*with a standout terrible season for us swaying them. Without it, 8.66 and 3.92.
So yeah, if we’re saying Maupay is rubbish then statistically it would only be right and just to say he is as well. Do you agree?
To be fair, I agree with this, and I think we do need to be more realistic of where we are, in terms of stature, and our financial predicament.Tbh it our fans snobbery and ridiculous nature to transfers. Many players don’t have the best stats but are effective.
Also players can do well despite previous clubs. See pienaar for example.
There's a Brazilian keeper called Weverton. Might as well go for him too.
Everton Sousa Soares 8 goals in 48 for Benfica from the wing, moved back to Brazil. Go get him Kev.
