Excellent question, I am currently working with some guys who believe they are making considerable progress in solving this and proving P=NP. They're applying their knowledge of this in the world of 3D and "4D" seismic data analysis.

the P v NP is a little over my head at the moment I definitely want to do more research on it, and win that 1,000,000 from the Clay Institute.
As for Monty Hall Always trust your gut instinct. Don't change it's a 50/50 shot.
