Sprit is what we need!

Let's hope that we dig in and at least let the bunch of prima donna's no they have had a game on there hands. If we can do this we could start the christmas period on a good footing.

C'mon lads!!(y)

very worried by our recently evolved 'standing still' defensive strategy. if we try this nonsense against chelsea we'll get hammered.

neil seems to be the principle stood still theorist.. heres hoping he's had his arse robustly kicked by howard and we can look forward to a feisty draw.

No Essien can only be good news, one of my favourite players and one of the best in the world, but they'll just replace him with Mikel, one of my other favourite players. Damn them and their depth.

Chelsea 3 (Drogba, Anelka, Lampard) Vs Everton 0.

Nothing game IMO. Just give em the 3 points and rest the players :D

Howard
Hibbert Heitinga Neil Baines
Rodwell
Bily Pienaar Jo
Fellaini
Saha

i think we will get beat though i hope im wrong but what i would be looking for is the recent return to our team spirit seeing the lads get stuck in and keep at it for the entire game ....

their defence is there to be got at esp. their recent form i just feel that we will get 1 r 2 really good chances and we hav to take them or we enter into a world of ifs buts and maybes

so coyb

Our midfield just looks proper lightweight without no Heitinga or Neville. Minus Fellaini we're gonna have a bunch of lightweight 5fters against probably Ballack, Mikel, and Lampard....

Then there's Drogba.....he scares me.

Heitinga will play. They are stuttering a bit .We could get a point .

They're not stuttering at all.

The Man Citeh game, for all the the post-match media hype, was their's to lose after missing a peno and a host of chances (Given being the most worked keeper of the two) as well as some dodgy reff decisions.

Other than that...They're still the strongest team in the league.

And last night ?In the CL?They switched off and looked mediocre at times.
You were the same before the spurs match. We´ll get battered you said. 4-0 !O ye of little faith.Do you say it before everygame?Do you just think by believing the worst you can´t be dissappointed?I don´t expect a win would be made up with a point and I think we could get one.

They had already qualified for the CL though so it was a nothing game for them.

And as for the righting us off in the Spurs game...Im guessing you thought we'd get something out of it when we were 2-0 down and they were missing sitters.

We're playing away against a muscular top of the league Chelsea team who dont want to lose their top spot after losing to Man Citeh. We have a shocking defensive record at the moment playing against one of the highest scoring teams in the prem. We dont have a solid centre back pairing, solid defensive midfielder and a "talisman" in Cahill for the game.

It'll be a walk in the park for them IMO.

BUT..like the Spurs game, I will be surprised if we get anything out of it.

The big games are the following week - Birmingham (home), Sunderland (away), Burnley (home).

There's where we need 9 points before we got to Arsenal.
