Disappointed we conceded late on but I had a feeling we would anyway. You just cannot invite pressure pressure and pressure without facing the consequences. The most disappointing aspect of it all was our woeful passing. If our passing and movement was a little better or as good as last season we could have even won that game.

Oh come on, this was the hardest game of the season on paper and we nearly got something from it. No reason to be suicidal over tonight, it's just bad luck after hard effort from the lads on the night.
I'm talking about the season on the whole mate, we don't even look like we're going to get into the top half. He has sent us back 10 years with his tactics. Cannot stand the man managing is any longer.

We lost our forward momentum when Barkley went off,all that was needed was Mirallas to replace Lennon.
Gareth Barry was just plain stupid, when the ref is a homer you do not kick out like that.

Bollox.

For a team out of form we put in a good shift there. Anyone who's having a go at our boys or the manager based on that performance needs to nip outside, give their heads a good wobble and wander off aimlessly in the direction of the nearest dual carriageway.

Although I'd expect more from a moderator than suggesting that someone gets themselves run over (mainly because I get warned for less), I fully agree.

played well tonight, defended excellently AGAIN, subs where terrible though, not sure why barkley went off and not naismith who has been laugable for weeks, couldn't make the ball stick if it was made of toffee, [Poor language removed] was gibson doing on the pitch?? barry has been a red card waiting to happen all season,

So wait, let me get this straight: people on here bitching about the fact we went toe to toe with one of the best teams in the world right now, had better chances than them, played tactically well and were 50:50 on pretty much everything? In fact, their goal was down to absolute luck as it went through the legs of multiple people and Howard didn't even try to save it for some reason (the tw@ ffs).

Top notch fans, us.

crazy isn't it

We have slowly improved after a nightmare month in Dec were confidence was at rock bottom

Draws with Liverpool and City, A win against Palace and a narrow defeat to the league leaders

Boggles the mind

this all day

played well, unlucky not to get a goal and a point at the very least,
barry's a liability and hopefully two games without him will show martinez how were better without him,

people forget were missing our no1 left back whose created most of our goals this season
