After a pretty boring first half which produced zero attempts on goal, it is good to see that Rhino has the capability of changing a game as we were much better 2nd half and had enough chances to have actually won the game and should have done. Deserved more even if we were playing Chelsea's Kindergarten team and if Rhino can get them playing like that for a full 90 mins, we might start to win some games. Some promising signs and a definite improvement from Koemans performances.

Much improved performance with better attacking play. But again our experienced defenders have been shocking. Jags apart from his goal line tackle was poor, wofeful in possession as if he was a rugby number 10 kicking the ball outta play.
Williams looks slow cumbersome and was he at fault fir the goal again. Baines delievery was poor and he really doesnt do it for me anymore.

But the rest of the team showed a bit of grit and prob were the better team second half. At least they got some crosses in etc.

Just a bad evening, watching us line up with Williams and McCarthy in a 4-3-3.

Unsworth himself said 'we need to win'. Let's see if he stays true to that in the post-match stuff.

For everyone whining about this loss. You have to see the full picture. Unsworth have only had a few days to bring his ideas into this team. Also, on most days we would have won this game based on the chances we created, compared to what they created. This game showed that most likely will our results improve massively.

The good teams go forward at speed. It's great to watch. We were doing that for much of the second half and so I count this evening a success. Play the same eleven against Leicester.
