.... Great to see another side to Marco Silva too, knowing when to protect a clean sheet (bringing Jags on) after being intuitive enough to really go for the win v Palace a few weeks ago with the Lookman, Tosun and Calvert-Lewin subs.

Positivity needs to be balanced by pragmatism.

First half we went for it, and the second half we set up shop. Have to say when Jags came on the game went quiet, so he did a good job

Was a touch skeptical of that move but turned out to be good defensive tactics by Silva which is encouraging to see.

I actually thought Friend had a decent game. The Mina yellow aside he never stood for their whining and diving.

Good progress, shows that we are only a top centre forward and RM away from a very good side.

That team would be the dream.

I've seen many a refs fall for Morata's diving. He didn't do bad. I don't have that much of a problem w/ the Mina foul, just the yellow. The foul on Siggy was admittedly hard to see how bad it was in real time. I just wish fouls like that were reviewed even post game.

I don't think Lookman is really any different from Lozano, who we already own.

Neither Mina's nor Bernard's were yellow.
Morata tried to manipulate ref from the beginning whistle
Jorginho,Rüdiger,Marcos dirty players(especially first half)
Touches to Siggy's and Theo's ankles were definetely a yellow

Under a good officiating Chelsea would be down to 10men in the first half
Everton deserved a penalty kick

Mina looked very comfortable
Siggy worked incredibly hard
Digne is Motm for me

Welldone Everton. Future looks bright with Silva
