I remember being there when i think it was Cottee had a pen saved and we lost 1-0, absolute mayhem getting back to the station, had to fight our way back any blue who was there that day will back me up,it was mayhem..still got the scar on the back of my head to prove it,

There's no reason we can't get a draw. This 23 games they're going on about is 13 wins and 10 draws. Sarri has improved them but they've been a top side certainly since the early 2000s. Even Mourinho (*spit) says he aims for a draw away and a win at home against the top teams. If you do that, all other things being equal, you end up with more points than them.
A win today is a tall order, not because they're out of our league, but because we are likely to have a central defensive partnership playing together competitively for the first time against an attack containing one of the world's best players. It's hard to see us keeping a clean sheet, which means we have to score at least two for a win, and we're not clinical enough in front of goal.
Having said all that, I can't help expecting us to win :p

Come on blues!!

I think this will be a cracking game. Confident we will go looking for a result which is a massive change from the last few decades on our travels.

We can win this just need to try and keep the ball off them which is easier said than done! We need to play a little bit of Moyes style by keeping it tight but also some Silva progressive football. If we are too defensive we invite them on and inevitably they will score too cavalier and we will be easily exposed.

My team.

Pickford
Coleman Keane Mina Digne
Gueye Gomes
Walcott Sigurdsson Richarlison
Tosun

Bring Lookman and Calvert-Lewin on for Walcott and Tosun round the 60 minute mark and Bernard on a little later depending on game situation who he replaces.

Apparently when they were awarded that penalty Vinnie Jones sidled up to Cottee and said "bet you a fiver you miss it", which the choker did. It was around this time that Cottee had said he didn't want to take penalties and was shamed into it by Big Nev who volunteered to take them in his place.

This is either going to go one of two ways:

Complete toothless capitulation and finish 2-0 / 3-0 typical away to the top 6 defeat.

Or

We get something out the game ie 1-1 / 2-1 win.

Can't wait to watch all the poppy wearing Nazi fascists pay respect to the fallen at Stamford Bridge today - the horrible, hypocritical racist scrotes.

God I hope we beat them.

That was a cup tie on a wet, miserable Sunday and we got soaked as we stood on a crumbling open terrace.
