Decent performance...not gun ho and we are trying to find a way on the counter. Restricted Chelsea to very little and we have played some lovely tidy footy from defence to midfield. It is not a defensive performance looking for just a point but a performance looking out for 3 points. I like this new Everton.

Ref is poor though

Funny thing is I don't think he's actually been that bad (Mina never a yellow like) The Bernard and Rudiger incident would have come from one of the other officials.

Can't believe what I'm watching here. How they are not already down to 9 men is due staggering incompetence by the ref. Shows how much they are scared of us though. We are well organised and closing down the spaces for them to play, but so are they so we've cancelled each other out.

Richarlison a bit quiet...not really getting at their defence to press.

Very organised and strong performance though. Chelsea really know how to kill any possession we get in their half, its unfortunate but we need to exaggerate more to get the fouls we deserve in this kind of game. Rudigers shirt pull on Digne seemed blatant but he could have made sure it was given with a different reaction.

He literally booked Bernard and rudiger by guessing. He clearly didn't see anything. Awful

The assistant referee on Walcott side is also to blame can spot an offside but not red card tackles.....

If Rudiger doesn't get some kind of retrospective punishment by the FA then I'm sure there is something dodgy going on.

I can never understand playacting like that, going down holding his face when Bernard could barely reach the top of his shin, Rudiger knows there is cameras everywhere, the pure embarrassment alone would be enough to stop me from doing that.

Sigurdsson is running like hell. What a leader on the pitch! Commanding, battling and fighting for a victory. All the boys has give a great shift in, including Walcott (!)

Bernard got away with that despite it being a nothing call. Don’t ever put yourself in that position

No criticism of Bernard is justified, he's occupying two of the leagues top defenders and his shot early on was about two foot wide of being a game turner. And if Chelsea thought he was lightweight because he's small...they've had a rude awakening. Definitely an upgrade on our usual showing away to the top six.Another thing, THeo is using his know how and experience today in a way that Lookman could not.
