Good lad, Ellis. Well done!
Ellis Simms 02.webp

Said it earlier thought today we showed fight team seems alot more mentally strong. Was a tough first half but we kept pressing for that second goal. Made it with that point and for simms was great run from him.great sub by dyche today have felt he has got this wrong in other gamea

What shocked was that pace to get round
I watched simms for hearts and Sunderland and he looked like he had pace once he got into a stride. But that surprised me from standing still that burst of pace for a big lad. He has always been a finisher that’s been clear from his career in youth to senior level. If he can just improve even slightly on his all round game we have a very good player.

Havertz is such a funny player, literally scores just enough goals to not be considered one of the biggest flops in recent history but really offers very little! If my club had spent £800m in a season and ended up with him up front i’d lose the will to live

To put it in perspective, Chelsea needed a pen to scrape the draw. COYB.
First goal scruffy too. We could have filled that hole, our 3 midfielders didn’t sprint into the box when the ball chipped over.

Annoying that we are conceding these sorts of goals and pens, but it is sort of positive that teams are scoring goals that we could/should stop. Better that than getting ripped apart, I think. As long as at some point we stop doing it.

I didn’t think you were allowed to come to a full stop on a penalty run up?
