That's all we can do tbf, we can't really take anyone on at actual football as we just don't have the squad for it, certainly not for 90 mins maybe small flashes of play but that's all. We just need to keep battling hard and making the most of any chance we get and I'm sure we will be fine and can then reassess during the summer period. I think Iwobi will leave in the summer imo, I can see him looking abroad somewhere, if we are not going to play him in the middle then we should replace him with a proper wide player and let him move on. The middle is his best position and I don't see Dyche playing that system.

Atm I'm not too arsed what type of football we play.
Survival is what it's all about this season.

But tbh I've been pleasantly surprised that we have been playing a bit of decent football unlike 3 passes accross the midfield , back to a defender then back to the keeper....rinse & repeat.
Refreshing really.

Oh I agree, the playing squad is largely the problem. We could play the same way (as now) but with slightly better players and I'm sure we would start changing the 1-0 games into a few 2-0's even 3-0's or whatever. But if we ever really want to challenge for those top echelons of the league or do manage to get into Europe again we would have to start to be more attack minded. It's not a worry for now though.

I’m 41 and I doubt I’ll see another challenge for Europe from us in my lifetime. So much bad to undo in our club, no new owners on the horizon so a clueless madman with no sugar daddy at the helm for the foreseeable.
