Chelsea are a much better side than us, but it still took a dodgy deflection and a penalty to make it 2-0.

I have no issue with defence-first. What I have issue with is not being able to formulate attacks.

Two good chances created across our last three games.

Thankfully we took them when it mattered.

No not really, but like I said, when I saw no Doucoure and JRod again I’d pretty much written it off.

Big shame tonight this boys but the team is very stretched atm. No Doucoure in any game is a concern with our lack of energy in midfield, no James to give us some magic either. A virtually nonexistent bench also.

Just got to dust ourselves off and move into the next game.

First time this season i haven’t felt frustrated or disappointed after a result - just beaten by a better team who were comfortable.

I wish we could have been a bit better going forwards as we offered zero threat really.

Think there’s something to be said about trying a king/DCL/richarlison front 3 next game.

Never had much hope in this. We're not ready. Your iwobis and gomes aint gona get you to a certain level.
Lets kick on for rest of season. Get as high in the table and replace a few who just aint ever gona cut it.

Our own downfall here, Chelsea would have kept huffing and puffing and we gifted them two easy goals.

Can’t agree here, they stuffed us and we wouldn’t have scored if we played for a year.
I never thought we would get anything out of this. Just move on.
