As nice as it would be to get into the Champions League if we got there this season I may be a year to early. If we can get Europa and a summer of signing like last summer we would be much better set up for a top 4 challenge.

they've stuffed us yet only scored from our own mistakes? They had a lot more possession and chances which is expected, Fact is they won 2-0 both goals from our own mistakes.

I think it's fair to say that we lost to the 2nd best team in the country and they'd been up there with City, if they started with Tuchel this season. But still we go. I'll be happy with top 6 europa spot for this season.

First time this season i haven’t felt frustrated or disappointed after a result - just beaten by a better team who were comfortable.

I wish we could have been a bit better going forwards as we offered zero threat really.

Think there’s something to be said about trying a king/DCL/richarlison front 3 next game.

Agree with this. We have no functioning midfield so may as well hit the channels.

DCL has been awful tonight, token runs but never working their defenders

Rhico was worse ......TBF they had no service all of the game ........
Our midfield was so slow no decisive through balls all night bar one to Rhico who snatched at his chance the forwards ran the channels for nothing.......
