Will someone post team news as soon its announced please?

Will manage to get on this site on my mobile just before kick off so would be appreciated.

With luck Danny I'll be about with the radio on, leave it to me mate, health permitting(y)

What odds can I have on Joey Yobo scoring tomorrow, I've had a dream!

It is on tape-delay here in the US, so I will be following via this thread (and its bleedin' mothers day here tomorrow)

This posting is a little prematch consumption, actually it doesn't make good reading but fact6s are facts

Head to Head

This is our 68th away league meeting v Chelsea, our full record is:

P67 W12 D20 L35 F63 A125

Our Premiership record against Chelsea is:

P W D L
Home 15 3 6 6
Away 14 1 5 8
Total 29 4 11 14

The Blues have won 2 out of the last 27 matches between the clubs, since 1994. The wins being 3-1 at Goodison in Jan 1998 and 2-1 at home in Nov 2000. Chelsea won 3-2 at Goodison this season and last season we were beaten 3-0 at Stamford Bridge in the league.

The Blues' last win at Chelsea was by 1-0 in November 1994, with a goal by Paul Rideout.

The Goals

The last hat-trick between the clubs was Roy Bentley for Chelsea in April 1956 at Stamford Bridge; the last hat-trick by an Everton player was by Dixie Dean in Nov 1931, when the great man scored five times in the opening 32 minutes.

Frank Lampard has scored in his last five matches against Everton.

Phil Neville's first senior goal was for Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in February 1998.

The ten penalties we have been awarded this season is the most since 1988-89 (15).

The Players

The last player sent-off between the teams was Lee Carsley at Stamford Bridge in the league last season. Chelsea have had 10 players sent-off against us - the most by any club.

If Joseph Yobo lasts the full match he will be the first player since Kevin Ratcliffe in 1986-87 to play every minute of the league season. Lee Carsley has also started every match in the league season and if he does the same on Sunday it will be the first time since 1977-78 (Mick Lyons and Andy King) that we have had two outfielders as ever-presents in the same season. We played Chelsea on the final day that year and won 6-0.

It will be Joleon Lescott's 250th league game should he play on Sunday and James Beattie's 250th career start should he begin the game.

General

We have not won our last game of the season since 1995-96 when a Joe Parkinson goal was enough to beat Aston Villa 1-0. Our last away win on the final day was 5-2 at Manchester City in May 1993.

If we concede two or fewer goals on Sunday we will have conceded fewer league goals than games played this season - for the first time since 1987-88 and for only the ninth time in our history.

we have gone 4-5-1

.................howard
......hibbert yobo stubbs lescott
arteta neville carsley fernandes osman
................vaughan

subs: turner, valente, beattie, mcfadden, anichebe

chelsea have cech, terry, lampard, drogba, and swp starting today.

Thanks suits looks like were going for the point! last few times we played them so close.

I would much rather us go for broke, be positive and get at them rather than let them dictate to us as will be the case now. The bench doesn't make good reading either, hope we don't lose a central defender early on.

We aren't going for a draw, that line-up is for stifling them and Arteta and Manny setting Vaughn up for a spectacular finish to the season!

I hope.

COYB!!!!!
