Mate, here you don't buy french fries in a trailer. I did buy french fries on the street in Bruxelles, this year.

But people kept telling me it was only because they invented the french fries.

I've been to a couple of places in Europe where you don't see this sort of thing.

I wasn't taking the piss, it was a funny post.

You don't tend to buy chips/french fries on the street. We just have hundreds of chippy shops, that serve soggy crap for people that can't be bothered to cook.

In Bruxelles (or is it Brussels? ) I saw a store opened to the street and people would line up to get a small pack of fries with a plastic fork... I thought that funny and went to the line to buy some.

My french is [Poor language removed] and so was theirs, since they speak flemish (or whatever that spitting thing is called). Me and my friends asked the special and ended up with the regular.

It was crap anyway.

But the Belgian chocolate is great.

Here you can buy hot dogs, hamburgers, "bifana" ( a pork slice on bread with all mustard and/or ketchup and/or mayonaise), "picanha" (beef from south america on the bread), Pita Shoarma or kebab. But no french fries.
