Yeah, fraud is boss. Merry Christmas.Early Xmas present today … bit of a long story.
Basically, we usually have a real tree every year at Xmas but this year the mrs decided she’d seen an artificial one that she really liked when she went to get her nails done or something (it was up and decorated in the shop). I tend to let her get on with things for a quiet life but I was mightily annoyed when she told me the cost of the tree, it’s from one of these overpriced pretentious online stores named Balsam Hill, the tree, 6ft one, was originally priced at £600 but my mrs got some promotional deal and got the tree half price.. so still £300 for a bloody plastic tree.
Anyhow, the tree arrived, she took it out the box and assembled it, lo and behold she didn’t like it and wants a real one. So back in the box went the tree and she contacted the company to come and pick it for return.
She got an email this morning off the company who have refunded £600 into her bank … and thanked her for her custom and hope she considers them again in the future. Funny thing is, she had not yet made a payment for the tree so this morning she finds herself £600 up and in possession still of the tree which she is now going to sell.
Not a bad start to a Sunday I must admit.
Oh Bryan….. every silver lining has a cloud don’t it xYeah, fraud is boss. Merry Christmas.
