This is me, but in IKEA car park, seat down having a kip

My mother in law is recovering from chemo, is very weak and my missus has a stinking cold.

I’ve tried very gently suggesting that it may be a bit of a bad idea, her coming here and potentially catching my missus cold, whilst her immune system is suppressed.

But what do I know ?

I’ll keep you abreast of the funeral arrangements.

Went into town earlier to get the turkey and food stuff, absolutely chaotic, will get the rest done tomorrow, hopefully it will be quieter, all these people have had plenty of time to go shopping yet leave it till the last minute.

Well thats it! all done and dusted for another year! No its not the timezone in the USA. The extended fam all come to ours the week before the holiday, celebrate solstice and Mrs Hawtrey's birthday. then the all bugger off to thir in-laws who are mostly proper christians! did the gift stuff Saturday night. got a nice new Fitbit. might go for a run on Xmas day proper.

Yesterday I watched the 1951 version with Alistair Sim.

The 1951 version was better.
