Christmas Booze

I’ve bought a wide selection of real ales, from Bargain Booze and the Ship, to accompany the wine and what not we’ll also have.

I’ll be wandering to the pub for one or two at midday tomorrow as the wife has decided, for once, to cook the Christmas dinner. That isn’t a good thing.

My missus normally get`s that bladdered I usually abstain until she passes out and the kids are in bed.

So does mine lol I now join her otherwise she gets on my nerves when I'm sober.

Don't drink much these day but will have a bottle of red open tomorrow (CVNE Reserva . Will probably only drink about a third of it. Strangely there is always loads of alcohol in the house mainly for guests and the wife, oh and the eldest who has developed at taste for white wine though she's on the type of antibiotics where they stress you shouldn't drink so could be fun tomorrow.

A nice bottle of red for chrimbo dinner (chateau neuf du pap or summat)
Brandy afters
Then a range of whiskies.

Then drive home.*

I presume you served on Sceptre? I worked with a lad who (I think) had served on HMS Sovereign.

12 small peroni gluten free....6 large and has to be jack n coke for the after meal relocations.. ..sod the wine or champers....too acidic !!

I've given up drinking but got 12 cans of San Miguel, 4 bottles of proper job ale and 4 bottles of cava.

Yeh mate. Served on there for 4 years and luckily was still there for the decommissioning. I’ve been on Sovereign and loads of mates from there. Was a crazy boat with some good lads on it.

Delivered Christmas to half of Portishead, deserve a few scoops ffs.

Couple of nice bottles of wine arrived the other day as an unexpected and unnecessary gift, so think one of them will wash down the cheese(s) that were part of the same gift.
