They’re my staples over Christmas, trying to incorporate some Christmas classics I’ve never seen as well, like I only watched It’s A Wonderful Life for the first time a couple years ago, Scrooged the year before that.

I also watch a lot of festive animated shorts like the Rankin Bass ones, How The Grinch Stole Christmas and Mickey’s Christmas Carol

Not ye traditional Christmas movie but watching it saves me killing everyone in the family at various times over the festive period.

Haven't watched a film at Christmas since I was 14 in 1980. Not out of any pompous sanctimonious reason, but because my sister's lad came on the scene. He has a lot of issues, poor lad, the least of which is autism. He is, however, the noisiest, chattyest chatmonster that has ever existed - so there was absolutely no chance of me following a film (I struggle to hear clearly in noisy environments). Then I just got out of the habit of expecting to see the tv on.

I only saw star wars for the first time when streaming started, because i missed it every Christmas ffs!

It's a wonderful life though.
