I remember that when I was a kid…. Awful.
Tedious bit of info…. The bloke in the shell suit is called Jeff, he’s the brother of ex arsenal full back Chris Evans from the 80’s I think, Chris went on to become director of football at Wolves academy and was at one time Gary Megsons assistant at Bolton, Chris was offered the managers job when megson got sacked but he turned it down.
Nice bit of Sunday morning pointless info for you.

I was just about to say she’s indicative of an era when people with very little talent could become famous just because they had the brass neck to sing in-front of a crowd. People like her, Bruce Forsyth do my head in. Then I remembered our version of them “influencers”

An absolute horror of a human being.

You won't find many nice stories about her away from the screen.

For her to have an early career as a singer with that thing some describe a voice merely suggests she gave world class handjobs. (a blowie far too risky with those chompers.)

Another Scouser whose teeth are seemingly too big for the mouth they are housed in.

There was a thread on this phenomenon a while back

Sorry not having that about Brucie.

He was a proper showman, warm and funny and the antithesis of Cilla in that appears to have been a genuinely nice person off screen too.

Don't let the jaded last days on Strictly cloud your view, he was dancing on stage with Sammy Davis Jr in days gone by and effortlessly connected with contestants and audiences as a host.

always thought he was a Jimmy Hill knock off tribute act. There's a few from that era who had one act and it never altered. Suppose he was pretty harmless in the main, and quite grotesquely unfunny. Sort of an art really.
